Hello! My name is Kordelia Taylor, most people call me Kordy, and I am a props artisan from Creston, Iowa. In May 2025, I graduated from Cottey College with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre as a Generalist, focusing on props and stage management.

Since then, I have been working as an intern in the PCPA Prop Shop in Santa Maria, California. Throughout my time as an artisan in the theatre world, I have experienced significant learning and growth. I love diving headfirst into a project, whether or not it’s something I’ve done before, as some of my favorite projects have been completely new to me. While working on a show recently, I discovered that I love leatherworking, especially stamping and tooling.

One of my biggest idols in the art world is Jim Henson. Not only because his work is well-known, but also because his work is deeply rooted in bringing people together. He created entire worlds of creatures and devoted them to educating and bringing joy to as many people as he could.
